I will start by saying, I am basically fine.
I tumbled yesterday, fell & broke my glasses.
I am at the hospital where I worked for 25 yrs, Denise, long term friend in Cat Scan gave e me a thumbs up.
The breakfast stuff at Riverside in Columbus is pretty diverse & good.
Since my glasses are broken, can someone cover for the next days? I cannot see too well. My nose is on the screen
Thanks

(26,103 posts)So sorry to hear about this but glad you are none the worse for the wear. That you weren't more seriously hurt is a relief, I'm sure. It's also fortunate that you are mending while on familiar territory.
I'm not sure what I'll have for breakfast today. Probably my traditional Lassi with a toasted English muffin with cream cheese and sliced pimento stuffed olives on top or a dab or orange marmalade. I may also have a V-8 over ice. I haven't decided.
Get well soon, irisblue! We love you!

Coffee with cream and Belgian waffles, later.
Good morning🤗

(31,437 posts)I'm not as steady on my feet the older I get. Read an article yesterday where people over the age 65, approximately 25 to 30% of them fall each year. I hope you mend quickly.
This morning I'm having my black coffee now ☕, later sausage and cheese omelette.
Good Morning 🌞

(18,264 posts)That was what my father would say when asked about his workday.
Sorry to hear about the tumble and glad to hear you are basically OK.
Black coffee so far on a rainy morning. I was debating leftover lasagna versus an English muffin with cream cheese when TJ arrived home from work. Much dog dancing, barking and moaning ensued. I never decided and now the dog is stretched out on the floor as if nothing has happened.
A rainy Sunday nap is a possibility and brunch later.

(3,615 posts)I always look forward to reading the postings of all who report on the cooking forum. My own breakfast today was my same usual boring one of coffee, toast with jam, and a whole lot of fruit.
