What's for Dinner, Thurs., July 9, 2026

Seafood salad. It has salmon, tuna, and shrimp. I mixed in vegetables like Vidalia, red and gold pepper, cucumber, and celery flowers. Hard boiled eggs. Mayo-based dressing.

I bought fresh naan. The guy was delivering it at the time I was at the store. The packages still had steam in them! Is this ultra-fresh naan bread ever good with this salad!

Blueberry basil kombucha.

Dessert: chocolate chip and salted caramel cookie.

Along with buttered brown rice. From the garden: Yellow squash fritters, green beans and peas cooked with onion and bacon, sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. Desert: Watermelon, of course! Store bought--ours are still only the size of cantaulopes.

I spread Boursin cheese on the bread and added some crunchy iceberg lettuce.

Later, I’ll probably have sliced banana with some butter pecan ice cream.

Mostly chopped romaine and spinach with red onion, tomato, cucumber, black olives, steamed sweet peas, sliced mushrooms, and chickpeas tossed in homemade vegan ranch dressing, Dr. Fuhrman’s recipe. Also had toasted multigrain baguette with pine nut hummus. Cheers! 🥂
