Just took a key lime pie out of the oven

Actually just lime pie. I used a recipe that includes ricotta and cream cheese. Some of the recipes called for gingernut (gingerbread) cookies. I have graham crackers, so I added a little ginger and cinnamon to the crumbs. It's on the rack, cooling. I used a 9" springform pan because I don't have any metal pie plates.

I filled the sink with dishes. I enjoy baking and cooking, but sometimes I wish I could just wiggle my nose to make it appear!

Happy Sunday!

I buy bakery once in a while. Glad to have the option. I'm glad I have the enthusiasm to dirty up my kitchen several times a week

Here's how I do it: Set timer for 10": Cook.

Set timer for 10": Clean

Set timer for 10" Cook.

Alternate until done.

Sometimes Cook 10, Clean 5 is enough.

Have iPad handy to watch youtube vids commercial free via Brave or Duck.

p.s. I think Key Lime pie is the perfect summer dessert.

No place to put anything. Ha.

I got everything washed and racked by the time the pie was baked. A taste of the pie was my reward.
