Related: About this forumI've got overnight guests again. (pic)
We had a heavy downpour and when it ended, something told me to check the deck and there they were. All three sisters were soaking wet. As best I can tell, they were caught off guard and by the time they made it to the shelter they were already drenched.
I blot dried them and gave them food. Tegan isn't eating so, of course, I am worried. They are in the playpen that I still hadn't moved from the porch so I'll spend the night in the den, close by, so I can periodically check on them.
The boys are outside, nice and dry but INSISTING they need to come inside, too. Sorry but the playpen is full.

(27,415 posts)I'm going to keep checking on them. If she takes off, they are coming back inside, just incase it rains, again.
And I brought down the other playpen so if it does rain, Merlin, Dylan and Rhys can have a dry place.

(95,068 posts)They'll probably curl up and keep each other warm as they dry. You're a very good kitty care lady.
So many cats have had a much better chance at life thanks to your efforts!

(1,230 posts)We were supposed to have rain overnight, but its just dew.
Maybe a quarter of an inch coming late this afternoon. We could use a good soaking. The creeks down quite a bit but still rolling down the mountain. Not so hot today, and Im okay with that.

(27,415 posts)She got her appetite back. We played for a while and I gave Tegan extra cuddles. Finally their mom showed up to take over kitten care. For now, anyway. I went inside and fell asleep for a solid two hours.
Thanks for the update!
