I haven't seen Dot since Thursday so I was really starting t worry.. I didn't see her when I brought out the breakfast but I just checked on them and there she was!
Skittish is still the only adult feral I've seen but all of the food is getting eaten.
The forecast for next week has some 40 degree days and rain. Ah, Michigan weather.

(94,930 posts)Warm by the weekend.
Glad Dot is back and the kitties seem to be eating the food outside.
It's slowly warming up here, above 0 this morning with snow on the way. I don't mind the snow if it isn't below 0 afterward.

(27,405 posts)I ventured out, today, for the first time since Thursday. I needed to buy some wet food for the kidcats but also wanted to run the car since it's been sitting for so long.

(94,930 posts)I have three things to do. Go to my shrink, go 40 miles away to the dentist then go shopping and make a dinner for two at a friend's house. I've been a slug for much of the past five days so it will be good to get out and run the Toyota, I love that thing. It gets me through anything, today it will be blowing and drifting snow 40 miles out and back. The other car has to wait for the roads to clear so I can get it to the gas station and top off the tank, charge it up too. It has need of a costly sensor replacement for the 4WD and I am too stubborn to get it done because I have the other vehicle that's better for winter driving anyway.
Before it gets cold again I'll make a trip out to visit Mikey and his mom. They're out there so the Toyota is needed for that trip. He's doing well, his mom got a heated pad for his cave in the garage that I made for him, she says he loves that. He still spends really cold days and most winter nights in the house. I can't wait to see him, it's been a few months.
Hopefully the rest of winter won't be too harsh.
