I remember reading The Bombs of Palomares when I was 12 or 13, circa 1970. It was one of those titles that jumped out as I perused the shelves at my local library.

I use a boilerplate format for the titles precisely to make it easy for people who don't want to read them to trash them.
They're mostly a vanity project. I just pick things I think should be remembered, sometimes for their quirkiness. I favor the offbeat.
