Does anyone remember the movie and the song? I was watching 20/20 last night and there was a reference made to it so we listened to the song again today. It has Timeless wisdom.

1. It does. The movie was hokey but I always liked the song.

Oh, yes, I remember.

Yeah, hokey film but it hit some of us pretty hard. I was the right age and disposition, I guess.

Loved them and have seen them many times.

Appearing in two different 1960s TV westerns.

6. I vaguely remember Mad Magazine doing a parody of it called Billy Jerk.

The songs lyrics were changed to lines like Kung the Fu out of your neighbor..

8. Oh, good grief, yes. My then boyfriend took me to it saying

it would revolutionize my life. In some ways he was right. My romantic side loved it, the rest of me thought it had a few problems.... I did always like the song.

It really did make a big impact on me. I guess I was just the right age for it, too. Loved the song. Loved the movies. Loved Tom McLaughlin!

BTW.. anybody else remember the tv show, "Then Came Bronson"? I had a major crush on him!!!
