Five people go on a skiing expedition in Wyoming and end up stranded in the wilderness. They make their way to
a community where it appears that the residents left suddenly, leaving windows open and meals on the table.
The cold, isolation, and dark combine to make this a story that creeped me out to the max.
I'm going to look into more of Gerritsen's works.

I still have a soft spot for "Harvest", the first medical thriller she wrote. She knows how to do suspense.

I hadn't heard of her before. Sounds like you enjoyed her writing?
