I thought it was pretty good, but it didn't exactly rock me back on my heels. How do the rest of you feel about it?

I haven't read it myself, but there have been quite a few posts here from people who DID read it.

Ah. There's also quite a few posts in this group about "The Goldfinch", too!

I loved it. It struck a chord with me. But I find the WWII era especially fascinating.

And, if I recall correctly, all of those who read it and posted about it here praised it highly.
To be honest, it simply never interested me - and still doesn't - whatever the Pulitzer Committee thinks.

Donna Tartt's "The Goldfinch." There's supposed to be a movie in the works; hope it does justice to the book.

Seems like lots of people liked that one, as well.

Both my wife and I give it very high marks.
We have Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch on order at the library.

story line. I, too, love that time period, Enthusiast. So happy that it won the big prize!
