REASONS TO KEEP A WRITER IN YOUR HOME
• they know weird facts
• they're low maintenance because all they do is eat and write

They're always having imaginary conversations with other people.
They're never really listening to you because of the other voices in their heads.
They need cleaning up after they emerge from their caves.

(speaking as a writer.)

Every murder mystery I've read, and that's many, the perp always gets caught, eventually. Plus, I am an editor so I am privy to lots of secrets.

In fiction, the killer's always caught so the readers are satisfied.

At one writer's conference, I gave a talk about "how to get away with murder," but I only gave that talk once because my husband told me I could get in trouble if anyone ever took my advice.

You sound fun. Are you published?

I host the Fiction group here and every Sunday start a new discussion about what people are reading. I find it quite enjoyable, so do pop in if that sounds like something you would enjoy.
