I became enamoured with "rat rods" and "steam punk" when these cars came out a few years ago as a reaction.....

......against hugely expensive restorations of cars and "trailer queen" collector cars that never got driven on public roads. Their "yeah, we don't care" attitude and the wildly creative of hardware, industrial and household parts in such artistic ways had real appeal. There aren't many examples where I live in Eastern Washington, so I'm going to wait for a while to see anything like this old Peterbilt tractor-trailer as the next generation.
