The Chicago Bears have a new head coach.

His name is Ben Johnson. He was until recently the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions. The local are, to say the least, excited.

Myself, I am hopeful that this guy is better than the last... four? Seven? And I'm telling anyone who'll listen that the Bears have serious personnel needs, and unless those are addressed this team will continue to suck, no matter who is coaching.

The O-Line is very subpar, and has no depth.
The D-Line was not as advertised, and the LBs , while ok, lack the speed to make up for an underperforming line.
The scheme was terrible and hopefully that will be addressed with his hiring.
They have a lot of cap money & 4 of the first 71 drat picks.
Now, let's see if they pick/spend wisely.
