Bring your Ref to work day in Kansas City

I didn’t watch the game between Chiefs and Bills but the day after it’s more of the same. Close calls going Chiefs way. Winners of 11 one score games this year. The “refs in the booth “ in the last two games both mentioned some questionable calls. As did Aikman last week and Romo this week. The league is discussing rule changes to use more technology to help the zebras. I know Chiefs fans don’t want to read this but the sports world is abuzz.

The subject line quote was from Adam Schein Sports Yakker.

That get heavily invested in sports gambling would also lead to more questionable calls?

Which posited the refs aren’t helping any team because that’s illegal and someone could go to jail. So apparently there is no murders going on in our country because that’s illegal and someone could go to jail.

Full disclosure, I’m an Eagle Fan since before birth. Saw an interesting map on Yahoo. The Chiefs had the majority support of fans in five states. The Bills had the other 45. The article inferred the appearance of impropriety somehow or other.

After many penalties on the Eagles they finally called a defensive pass interference call on the Chiefs near the end of the first half to make it appear that they weren't biased. The end result was instead of the Eagles having 3rd down and 1, it became first down and there was no yardage penalty. The Eagles were still 20 to 30 yards away from being in field goal range so the penalty was meaningless.

There were other missed calls such as holding penalties on the Chiefs and I doubt they would have won the game without the refs preferential calls.

Honest mistake. You had the production down Pat just different actors.

I hope you weren’t foreseeing the Super Bowl.

The good news is that the Super Bowl isn't a home game for the Chiefs so maybe there won't be as many home calls by the refs. However, it seems like the NFL does have its sight on a three-peat so the game might get rigged so they can make more money selling merchandise.

Once Houston was knocked out of the playoffs, I was hoping that the Bills would win it all. Being a Cowboys fan it is difficult to cheer for either Philly or Washington. Yeah, I expect the Cowboys to suck for at least two seasons and possibly more since the Commanders and the Eagles will dominate the NFC East and Jerry Jones can't pick a decent draft pick.
