Last Night's Bears game was my "Heidi Bowl."

With under 4 minutes to go, the Bears were down 16-6 to the Packers. I was done and went to bed. However, the Bears tied it up and won 22-16. While I'm sorry I missed it, very happy they won for an unthinkable 11-4 record with 2 games to go.

* Heidi Bowl, or Heidi Game, refers to a notorious 1968 American Football League (AFL) game between the Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets, famous for its exciting finish that viewers missed because NBC cut away to air the children's movie Heidi on time, leading to massive outrage and changing sports broadcasting rules forever. “This game is over” when the Bears were down 7 and going for the onside kick. What an unbelievable comeback!

3. I went to bed after the 4th quarter, didn't care. The Rams game Thursday nite was my Heidi Bowl.

In that one I thought the Rams had the game in hand and went to bed. Truth is, I'm not that big of a football fan to lose sleep over a game, I'm going to bed.
