KC Chiefs are leaving Missouri for Kansas

The relocation is expected to be complete in 2031. Kansas Governor Kelly - a Democrat - said "Kansas is no longer a fly over state. It's a touchdown state".

Woot!!!

IIRC the site wouldn't have to move that far to be in Kansas but I'm too lazy to look it up.

So Arrowhead is on its way out? That's too bad. Lotta history there. Even for a fan of a different AFC West team

from Leavenworth and the KC airport. Honestly, I'm really a bit conflicted because I love the Chiefs and Royals sports complex. It's quite a coop though for Gov Kelly, a Democrat.

It's great that Billionaires gets the public to pay for the building so they can make millions. What makes you think the Missourian will cross the border to watch the Kansas City, KS team?

The Giants paid a visit to the Royals in August, during the height of the "Hunter Pence signs" craze. One Kansas City fan held up a sign which read "Hunter Pence thinks he's in Kansas." According to Yahoo's Tim Brown, Pence said saw the sign and thought, "We're not?"

"I guess I'm really bad at geography," Pence elaborated. "This is Missouri, correct? It's tricky."
