I am just furiously angry furious at them.
Someone hacked into my account and changed my email, somehow. Think that is how it went this has been a few weeks ago so I may misremember the sequence of things. The only thing that is crystal clear to me is that Blizzard and all their ancestors can go fuck themselves with a roto router.
I tried emailing them, but of course I couldn't log in with my regular account. I tried re-registering but somehow got all hung up on the absolutely stupid way to go about attempting to communicate with Blizzard. They give you just one line to state your beef and I wanted 10 lines of expletives for them so that got me so mad with enraged blood in my eyes I messed that up too.
Anyway, it was a mess of forgetting what the hell my 'special question' was and all that stuff.
I tried phoning Multiple Times to their 800 but just get a recording basically telling me to go to support online - (as I did above and got absolutely no where, that is why I tried phoning, you dumbasses) and got basically told that the queue is too long for anyone to bother with me so go fuck yourself, sucker. haha.
fuckety fuck fuck damn
Hanging up the spurs on this one. I won't go back now even if they paid me. And the real kicker is I take real care on which games I pay money for. And now that thing is totally useless to me because I can't even play it single on my comp - Blizzard can just take my money and there is nothing I can do about it.
The only revenge I can have is to talk shit about them forever. And transfer that to my grandchildren I don't have yet - give them a script to follow for generations of how suckass Blizzard is.

(726 posts)...this happened to you. At least two people in my guild have gotten hacked but, fortunately, did manage to get their account and all of their "stuff" back. I gather that they just called Blizzard.

(39,961 posts)and you, along with my own experiences, are why Blizzard games are the trash bin of gaming to me.
We had some fun playing D3, Whisp, but nothing makes up for a company screwing you.
If you want to play again, Torchlight 2 is fun, cheap, and doesn't come with a load of horse patties.

(24,096 posts)I may look into Torchlight - I know KK plays it (haven't talked to her in ages) and it's available for Mac!
I am way cooled down about Blizzard now. Stuff happens. The desire to play it again has completely disappeared.

(39,961 posts)Tons of botters, it has an auction house where you can make actual real money which is going to attract thieves and hackers like flies, and the drops are so pitiful you are pretty much forced to use the auction house for upgrades unless you get extremely lucky.
The real money auction house and the way that Blizzard made Diablo 3 revolve around it (so they can continue to make money off of the game) is what made what should have been one of the best games of 2012 into the biggest disappointment. Not to mention I have no idea why the game took so long to make since it really isn't all that big, and Act IV is about the most half-baked level I've seen in a while.
What they used their resources on to make Diablo 3, I'll never know, because they cut more things than they actually put into the game.
