(33,982 posts)You didn't object to it when I posted it first time, so I presume it's acceptable. If the SOP changed, I haven't reviewed it today. Apologies in advance if so.

(33,982 posts)We actually talked about it for a few posts. Seemed ok.

(18,312 posts)Maybe it's someone that I dislike, like the guy whose dog takes a poop on my front stoop every day and he maybe picks it up one out of 4 times. I don't want to pray for that guy.
You kind of owe it to your audience if you want them to pray for someone.

(82,333 posts)AUTOMATED MESSAGE: Results of your Jury Service On Thu Jun 4, 2015, 07:31 PM an alert was sent on the following post:
Yeah but I don't. I'd like to know who I'm praying for

REASON FOR ALERT This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS Disruptive post in the Prayer Circke safe haven.
You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Thu Jun 4, 2015, 07:51 PM, and the Jury voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE Explanation: I think I could support most hides within this "safe haven". Just not sure that this "prayer request" is what this haven is all about. Have to leave it alone without a tad more explanation.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE Explanation: Seems like an overreaction. Seems like Heddi is the voice of reason by proving constructive feedback.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT Explanation: What kind of ass-hat harasses someone asking for prayers? If you don't wanna send up a prayer, bugger off and leave the person alone. Hide this tool. -N
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE Explanation: What an awful place. How petty to ban a poster just because they don't pray. Maybe instead of making nasty comments about a respected DUer who is loved by all, the hosts should rewrite their sop which says "All are welcome, regardless of faith or spiritual persuasion". Too bad they don't practice what they preach. Ugh.

(11,573 posts)That was a truly pathetic case of alert-trolling.
Three months? Really? Someone's clearly obsessed with the OP.

(5,649 posts)These are the jury results from rug's alert on Heddi's post in A&A. (I know it was rug's alert because he accidentally sent it to the group hosts first)
So, yeah, I think that this case of alert trolling is truly pathetic (not to mention a lie, since we didn't learn about xchrom's passing until June 13).
okasha
(11,573 posts)but the rules have become --flexible --lately. So what we have here is a straight up violation of a safe haven, and a dig at Justin. The rules in this group, however, are not flexible.
Xema Sab has been blocked from this group.
rug
(82,333 posts)Along with your defense of it.
You could edit eight words out of your post title and still be right.
That post and some of its answers are pure grade A hypocrisy, given that the same little gaggle has attempted to get threads locked in safe havens as SOP violations.
And it's obviously aimed at Justin as well as you, or it wouldn't be posted in this thread.

I thought Justin's thread was about xchrom who died around that time but it turns out it was about NYC SKP.
Either way, the trolling of this group is evident in that thread. And of course, they still have no compunctions at all about continuing it.
