BIRDS TRAPPED IN THE EYE.
The Hurricane Hunters had a heartbreaking report that shows the intensity.... birds are trapped inside the eye of Melissa — where it’s calm — but they can’t escape because the surrounding eyewall winds are too violent to fly through.
The turbulence was so extreme, the NOAA aircraft had to turn around early.
Melissa is now one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic with 200 mph gusts.
Pray for Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. 🙏nd
