Enable cookies?

I always have cookies enabled for DU, but lately I am intermittently unable to log in and get the "enable cookies" message.
I check and find they are already enabled.

Obviously I didn't have the problem this morning, but all yesterday afternoon. And several times in the past week.

I use Brave browser (Chromium based) with minimal customization, and Proton VPN.

2. Usually the best thing to try in a situation like this

is to delete any DU cookies that your browser is storing. Once you reset those cookies, the problem will hopefully resolve. It sounds like you know what you’re doing tech-wise, so I expect you already know how to do the cookie deletion, but if you need assistance let me know.

3. Follow up.

I still don't know exactly what the problem was under the covers, but I figured out it only happened sometimes when I got into DU from a link in a search engine. Then I looked closer.

"en" is not a valid DU subdomain, so yeah, that would cause a problem. Glad you were able to figure it out.
