After inserting a smilie, when you click the "hide smilies" button, you get dropped somewhere at the bottom of the page. You're not in a textbox, you're just sort of floating on the page, & you have to navigate back to the textbox.
The cursor should be put back after the smilie if the user inserted one, or where it was before, if the user changed their mind & didnt insert one. Its really annoying if you use smilies a lot.
on edit: I'm on Windows 11 & use Opera & Chrome & it's the same in both.

and all I had to do was scroll up a tad. Windows 10.

I am referring to my experiences using my Android phone.

This seems like an easy fix. It worked this way in older versions of DU.
