4. So you know, we did have an issue with post reccing yesterday

I've been working on updates to DU's overall security over the last few days, and as part of this, an issue was introduced yesterday whereby some people were getting an invisible security check when clicking the rec button, that couldn't be completed. The effect was that to the user, the rec button just didn't work.

I believe this is resolved now, but I would say that the overall level of recs across DU would have been reduced somewhat yesterday, so maybe you're seeing a side effect of that.

5. DU traffic often varies, and I've seen people mention that it's often lighter in summer. Don't take it

personally. I think we've all had days when we wonder if our posts are invisible, as we watch an OP sink without comments or recs, and then the next day a post will be at or near the top of the Greatest page.
