The Spinal Tap sequel is finally streaming!

It's on HBO/Max. Definitely going to watch it this evening. I'm devastated about the loss of Rob Reiner and his wife. Such an amazing talent and really decent human being.

And laughed my ass off. Rob is in it a lot. Like everyone else that saw it then, had no idea the heartbreaking event was coming.
A whole damn lot of evil is among us.
Even one with a few immediate side kicks ruling the country right now.

I thought it was much better than critics were saying it was. Many laughs but jeez, I didn’t realize most of those guys are now in their late 70s-early 80s. However, they still have pretty good voices and could play rather well.
When it ended I mentioned to my wife that I bet Reiner has to spend a small fortune on security for himself and his family because of his political activism. Little did I know that the terror he would shortly confront would come from within his own family. I was quite shocked, actually.

And one of my favorite movies of all time, a sequel could only be a bit of a let down. I wish they made this 20 years ago. I thought it was quite funny, only I don't think there are many quotable lines like the first one had. It just made me super sad seeing Rob Reiner in it. Such a genius.
