It's on HBO/Max. Definitely going to watch it this evening. I'm devastated about the loss of Rob Reiner and his wife. Such an amazing talent and really decent human being.

A whole damn lot of evil is among us.
Even one with a few immediate side kicks ruling the country right now.

(1,731 posts)I thought it was much better than critics were saying it was. Many laughs but jeez, I didnt realize most of those guys are now in their late 70s-early 80s. However, they still have pretty good voices and could play rather well.
When it ended I mentioned to my wife that I bet Reiner has to spend a small fortune on security for himself and his family because of his political activism. Little did I know that the terror he would shortly confront would come from within his own family. I was quite shocked, actually.

(26,604 posts)And one of my favorite movies of all time, a sequel could only be a bit of a let down. I wish they made this 20 years ago. I thought it was quite funny, only I don't think there are many quotable lines like the first one had. It just made me super sad seeing Rob Reiner in it. Such a genius.
