My plants are all hanging up to dry!

My first big harvest! Eight big plants are drying in the garage! I've read they should be ready to be put into jars in about a week.

The last time I got high was over 30 years ago. I'm growing it just because I can. Actually, I may give it a try. I got high twice, once was a horrible, paranoid trip and the second time I laughed my ass off. So I guess I'm 1 for 2. One of my concerns is I quit drinking 7 years ago when alcohol was taking over my life. Hopefully pot won't do the same.

One note about smoking.
The stuff has gotten MUCH stronger. One hit, not joint, hit can get you there. So take it easy.

Before putting into jars… mold can form quickly… open the jars for a couple hours each day and ‘mix’ up the contents, it gets closer to a uniform cure. You should do this for a couple weeks. Hate to see your hard work get ruined.
I’m a recovering alcoholic cannabis poses no problem…matter of fact it keeps alcohol at bay.

Loved following your endeavor, took me back to the early days of growing, but it woulda been nice if you posted some pictures.

Best to store in canning jars with a humidity reading of 55 to 60 degrees. Each jar gets one so I can always know humidity.

I like 55. If humidity is too low - put a piece of orange peel or dab water under lid. Burp jars every day for a week adjusting humidity before you put them in a dark place.
