After Congress averted a government shutdown with a last-minute deal, its become a serious question: who runs the GOP, Donald Trump or Elon Musk? While Trump is about to be sworn in for his second term, Musk is the richest man in the world and appeared to play a bigger role in the government shutdown talks than Trump did.
Which raises another question: with Trump being the oldest man to ever win the presidency and having already served one term, is he already a lame duck? MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin spoke to Democratic Congressman John Garamendi of California. - Aired on 12/22/2024.
