Trump already using the executive branch as a 'personal political weapon' - Deadline - MSNBC

Mark Mazzetti, New York Times reporter, and Mary McCord, Former Assistant Attorney General for National Security at the Justice Department, join Nicolle Wallace on Deadline: White House to discuss how Donald Trump has already begun using the executive branch to go after his political enemies flying in the face of the false claims he made during the Biden Administration that the Justice Department had been weaponized against him. - Aired on 01/22/2025.

Oh yeah, Project 2025, the one Trump had never heard of.

As I recall Project 2025 got a lot of traction and was very unpopular. I think it would be useful now to compare Trumps actions to Project 2025. It could be a way to say to the public, here was the plan, here's what they've done and here's what's next. Building preemptive resistance could be useful in slowing their roll and mitigate their actions.

Unless he commits another crime that's egregious enough that he could be locked up. But with the SCOTUS "immunity" ruling and his majority, though slim, in Congress, he's already getting away with unconstitutional and anti-democratic actions. And yes, he's following the Project 2025 plan, though I doubt he's read it, so someone or someones must be directing him. Will pointing it out do any good? I'm not sure, but he's already much worse this time so the resistance needs to be much more widespread and proactive.
