Citizens United united the Oligarchs: Billionaire Nicole Shanahan vows to fund primary

JUST IN: Billionaire Nicole Shanahan vows to fund primary challengers of 13 specific U.S. Senators who don't support RFK Jr's confirmation, calls them out by name.

Good.

"I will make it my personal mission that you lose your seats in the Senate if you vote against the future health of America's children."

"To senators Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Bill Cassidy, Thom Tillis, James Lankford, Cory Booker, John Fetterman, Bernie Sanders, and Catherine Cortez Masto..."

"This is a bipartisan message and it comes directly from me. While Bobby may be willing to play nice, I won't if you vote against him."

"I will personally fund challengers to primary you in your next election, and I will enlist hundreds of thousands to join me."

If we do not place overturning Citizens United on our party platform, we have little credibility in saying we are against obscene money in politics. There is no such thing as a good billionaire.

Perhaps this is one reason we see some odd behavior we do not understand from our leaders?

Are immune to threats. But she is threatening them in order to induce a certain decision from them on a specific candidate. This needs widespread exposure as coercion and whatever else it is. And for that louse, jeebus.

Due to Citizens United, they have the legal vehicle to do so.

They got bored buying every high end luxury item they could think of.
So they decided to buy the government of the United States.
For fun, and they love the power they can use like a chain saw.

The effort to overturn it will take a massive campaign built to sweep other candidates out of office if they do not support it, on state and federal levels.

It is worth a try. I had hoped Harris would run on expanding SCOTUS.

Yes. The Court should have 13 members, one for each circuit; the size was set at 9 when there were 9 circuits. And it would not be Court packing, but Court restoration. https://x.com/kollackwalker//kollackwalker/status/1851987850327204180

Opinion | To fix the Supreme Court, add more justices

Dec 9, 2021 — Laurence H. Tribe. Nancy Gertner ... We now believe that Congress must expand the size of the Supreme Court and do so as soon as possible.

And also using a chainsaw.

To build a utopia for the rich and a dismal dystopia for the rest of us.
