Tyson is about to fire 50% of Lexington, Nebraska's workforce in one of the largest plant closures in decades.

They do what fills their need. If a small town dies in the process, that's too bad.
Re,member, the republican party is fueled by donations from these corporations. To keep the money flowing, they need to cater to these corporations, and the incredibly rich people who run them.
We can't be free of this as long as republicans run the show, including the supreme court.
The only way out is a full on political rebellion against anything republican.
The way it looks now, we have only 1 chance to do this...the 2026 election. If we take back one or both Houses at that time, then we get a short reprieve until the 2028 election, where we need to hold Congress and elect a Democratic President.
Even then it's going to be a hard fought battle to save America from Fascism.
