1. Is it because I'm really old?

I'm wondering if I'm depressed because of my age and I find myself looking back and feeling wistful. I've never been like this before when it comes to the political future of our country. I'm guess I'm going to have to read some books about how to overcome this feeling of dread!

There are lots of us feeling the exact same way. Unfortunately depression is a normal response to the reality we face.

and, for some reason that cheered me up a bit. But, somehow the reality we face seems to be very grim (and scary). I can't stand seeing myself as a depressed person.....that is not who I am. It's like we don't have a choice in the matter!

it has to do with how much we care for our country, and others are so out of touch, which lead to this criminal in the WH. But let him stay at Mar a Loco it's as tasteless and gawdy as he is. I think they should just change the locks at the WH he doesn't belong there. He has no concept of what the ideal of the country is. He hates democracy.
