Quakers Sue to Block ICE Agents from Houses of Worship This Weekend - Democracy Docket
A group of Quaker meetings, represented by Democracy Forward, have filed a lawsuit challenging the Department of Homeland Security's plan to enable federal immigration enforcement officials to enter houses of worship for their immigration enforcement actions.
Now, the plaintiffs are seeking emergency relief to pause ICE enforcement on all houses of worship across the country in advance of weekend services. Marc Elias and Paige Moskowitz discuss.
