Because you know they're doing this because Trump will pardon them.

See, there's that problem with Immunity. He's going to claim he thought he was working within his powers. He's so crooked that they don't know how to hold him accountable.

And if he pardoned those who attacked and disabled those in law enforcement who protected the Capitol, members of Congress and VP Pence, he will pardon anyone who he believes are advancing his interests.
