3. He doesn't need votes.

He told us so. It started with his racist bullshit at the Black Journalists conference as if trying to indicate he wasn’t trying to convince people outside his base. He then outright said he didn’t need votes, he had plenty, no problem. He walked that back later, would ‘t need any after 2024. Then he swept all the swing states-statistically very unlikely at best. It later became known that Starlink was involved in vote tabulation. Trump said Musk knew before anyone else. Follow up statistical analysis showed statistically significant deviation between the count for president and down ballot races, similar to analysis of Putin’s election results.

So, there’s all that, plus his willingness to declare a state of emergency to enact emergency powers, warranted or not. He is not kidding about a third term.
