LITIGATION COALITION FORMING TO CONFRONT TRUMP ADMINISTRATION POLICIES
https://thefederalnewswire.com/stories/665892188-litigation-coalition-forming-to-confront-trump-administration-policies
According to a press release by the coalition, Democracy 2025 is spearheaded by Democracy Forward, a legal advocacy organization to promote "transparent and accountable governance. The coalition says more than 800 individuals are involved, including "litigators, strategists, advocates, academics, policy experts, and faith leaders."
In the press release, the coalition said it formed to oppose policy proposals outlined in Project 2025 and other plans that may be considered by the incoming administration. Democracy 2025 says it has identified 221 "high-priority threats relating to democratic institutions, reproductive rights and access to health care, labor protections, discrimination, public education, environmental protections, immigrant communities, and national security.
The coalition lists the following organizations as members on its website:
Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law

(949 posts)Are you taking suggestions?
As of last Friday:
"Leadership from LGBTQ+ Organizations from Across the United States Announce the Formation of the National Federation of Stonewall Democrats"
https://www.nationalstonewall.com/nationalstonewalllaunch
Many states have chapters, and you can click on those links to get involved locally.
Edited to add: I believe it's the umbrella organization that's newly formed, with state orgs being already in action. The names from my state are people who have been involved in LGBTQ and particularly Democratic politics for years.

Great post!
I especially like that - from the leadership lists anyway - the Federation seems to be intergenerational.
