Fighting fire with fire

Yesterday, with a judge ruling that the end of birthright citizenship is unconstitutional, I believe that the way to fight trump became apparent.

He is president because he spent years tying the rule of law up in the courts; in a sane world, he would be in prison for his crimes. This is the approach that may save the US from the worst of his maniacal slate of EOs.

Tie every word he issues up in court. Slow him down; delay, delay, delay. Take everything you can right up to SCOTUS. Yes, they have a corrupt majority, but just getting there will take time, money and legal expertise. Bog him down in bullshit and bury him in it.

I'm aware that I have no real say in the future of the US, but for the sake of my DU friends, I sincerely hope this madman can be stopped.

I suppose some have been stopped along their path, but how would we know?

I don't know if that means we're in a worse place than I thought, or a better one.

For example, and I simplify because I only ever did a superficial read, supposedy Garibaldi, a sort of right of center military hero himself, saved Italy by deposing the monarch. Garibaldi returned from South America to do this, I think.

But there was Mad King Ludwig. Cromwell, who is described as saving England but being a power grab in his own right. THe period of the Hundred Years War had some tyrants. It's always religion that gets everyone all ginned up.

Think. Again.

A strong, solid resistance to each and every moves he makes, regardless of the predicted outcome, is essential because basically, it's all we got.

But "working with" the nazis is the absolute worst mistake we can make.
