OK!!! So they want a meritocracy!!! Then...

- Let's establish a guaranteed minimum income, linked to the cost of living, so no child grows up in poverty
- Let's establish a minimum teacher's salary across the country, linked to the local cost of living
- Let's establish medicare for all, so no child is distracted from learning by poor vision or an aching tooth or a low-grade feer

1. a minimum annual income of $50000 indexed for inflation and local cost of living
2.free medical services for all residents, and a "war on disease" led by the Mayo Clinic
3.free college or technical school for everyone
4. a mandatory 30 hour (four day) working week and a minimum of four weeks paid vacation per year
5. a pension of $1000/month paid to every person from the age of 65
6. living wage jobs guaranteed for all willing to work
7. a maximum inheritance of $100 million
8. a maximum annual income of $25 million
9. an individual's maximum private wealth/fortune of $999 million

or so and double that minimum to $2000/month per person. Make sure we have some sort of basic elderly care, and perhaps if the elderly person lives in a care community the max per month would be decreased because they'd just need money for minimal expenses - perhaps hobbies or outings.

Overall, I think your plan is wonderful & shows that there's so much we could to do make a decent standard of living by focusing on what would be good for people (and it's not allowing folks to be billionaires while others are homeless).
