All German military personnel were mustered in formation and forced to swear a pledge to Adolf Hilter, the Fuhrer, above all else including the Weimar Constitution. Can't really do that here, but that's the goal - a military that is sworn to follow the leader, not to defend the Constitution.
The pledge I swore in July 1970 is still operative AFAIC, which means I cannot support and must oppose the shredding of Constitutional rule of order in our country.
