1. More backtracking and adjusting the bonkers generality of the EOs

They issue a shit ton of "shock and awe" EOs, which everybody in the federal government dutifully interpreted maximally, then they come back quietly and adjust them because the scope of the EOs was constructed by amateur hour idiots who didn't expect them to be intepreted maximally. Just a brief summary of the backtracking on generally broad-scoped EOs:

+ NIH EO seemingly shuts down virtually everything - they have to backtrack and specify what is not prohibited after the fact
+ Air Force shuts down particular training video because of its links with DEI training - they have to backtrack that they wioll show the video with historical reference to the Tuskegee airmen
+ Hiring freeze directly applies to VA and other veterans services, leaving veterans in the lurch and hanging hundreds of new hires out to dry - they have to backtrack, excluding any VA and veteran's health from the hiring freeze.

There are more, and there will be many more. We were told that this time, the Trumpies would have a deep understanding of the federal government and would be surgical in their strikes. they are surgical like Hannibal Lector escaping the cage. It's almost as if these people still have no clue what the fuck the federal government is or how to run it.
