Why are some DEMs we elected enabling Trump??

2. The Problem

Some Dems see that Trump and MAGA have taken over and are trying to form a Fascist Regime. So maybe these Dems are afraid of being locked up at some point, or at least losing their position in Congress. So centrist Dems are caving in the hope that if there is some sort of Fascist Purge of Democrats in the future that they will be spared. So maybe it is simple cowardice. There might be other explanations.

As far as a plan goes- normal democratic behaviors are not going to work. Dems in Congress need to start speaking out to say that we no longer have a functioning democracy. What we have instead is a rising Fascist Regime. They need to say this out loud, in the media, in large numbers, and repeatedly, until the American public gets the message. Only mass resistance from the general population will be able to stop this. The masses need to be activated by the Dems in Congress.
