3. It's been dead to me for a long time

I think since they introduced Gmail and their intentions to dominate the web became clear.

Trouble is, people are totally dependent on Google/FB/Twit/..... fill in the gap. There are always alternatives if you take a few minutes to accustom yourself to something different.
