And any candidate that refuses to understand this is destined to lose, as have previous candidates that tried to claim """rigged!!1!""" for their failure to appeal to the broad coalition that makes up the Democratic base.
Spoiler alert: if you are choosing to play footsie with MAGA bros instead of building inroads with our black base of voters, you'll almost assuredly lose the nomination.
