Garland was the wrong man for what was needed in response to an armed insurrection and attempted coup. But I'm not as inclined to feel Biden failed America, but rather perhaps, America failed Biden.

My take on him is that he did the best he could for US, for America, in spite of the opposition, the derision, and obstruction.

I believe he would've liked to hang up the hat, but was convinced he'd be the only one capable of stopping Trump/MAGA. That he ran for US.

Just like I believe he stepped down for the exact same reason. It wasn't his fault that age took its toll. The debate? Well,

I once wrote a piece (elsewhere) in which I suggested that Democrats could do with some of MAGA's fanaticism. Because Trump could tell his DEVOTEES to eat ***** and they'd all line up from TwiddleDusk to TwiddleDawn to get an extra helping. That's how THEY roll.

No way THEY'D balk at Trump dropping the ball (and they've had plenty of opportunity I think). Not a chance. They just DOUBLE DOWN.

High time we start doubling down too.
