Norman Vincent Peale was Donald Trump's childhood minister.

Trump frequently engages in magical thinking. This may has its roots in Peale's "Positive Thinking"

He has exhibited this throughout his life and presidency.

Peale's "Positive Thinking" was a strong influence on "Prosperity Gospel".

It is not surprising that Trump surrounds himself with proponents of "Prosperity Gospel".

Also, his magical thinking may be also be part of his narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

BTW, Trump was angered and wanted an apology when Rev. Mariann Budde pleaded for mercy at the inaugural service.
