There are very few true "journalists" left and they are not in the White House Press Corps. Although I will admit that Kaitlin Collins has shown some backbone in standing up to them.

Most are just looking for a quote they can use when they go on one of the evening talk shows. They dare not cross the line and report stories that are important or ask questions that are off-limits. If they can find some juicy tidbit or something controversial and interesting, that is the story that they report.
