I don't think Trump gets his hands on much of the Iranian oil because there are so many other people in the region who feel they are so much more entitled to steal it than Trump is.

This whole thing is Netanyahu's baby. There is zero benefit to the American people for leading this invasion, and we will suffer consequences for 25 years after Trump is dead. But he doesn't care about that. This is Trump's payment to Netanyahu to turn over the best Gaza property to Jared and the Trump boys. It is really nothing more than that. And that is the only thing that "Board of Peace" cares about. They are exterminating the Palestinians and dividing up the land. And Iran was one of the big barriers to that. Trump puts himself in the front of the line to grab the best Gaza properties.

Plain and simple. There really isn't any more to it than that. At least not in Trump's mind. Obviously there are many consequences to everyone else, but that is not driving Trump.
