53. Exactly. Netanyahu is happy to finally have the US military fighting his war.

Israel is using its military to push further into Lebanon and take more of their land. I've read that Lebanon now has a better government that wants to rebuild the country instead of fighting Israel, but Netanyahu never misses an opportunity to push his violence instead of negotiating a peace deal. Israel has also being invading Syria and taking land there even though the new Syrian government has not attacked them and has said they have no interest in doing so. Netanyahu seems to want to destabilize this new government and perhaps cause it to fail, resulting in an opportunity to grab larger areas of land in the ensuring chaos. Netanyahu is greedy to take all the land surrounding Israel he can get away with. And now with the US fighting his war on Iran for him, he's free to pursue land grabs elsewhere. I would not be surprised to see the IDF eventually attack Jordan. Middle Eastern leaders are rightfully wary of Iran, but they have a hugely destabilizing influence in this Israeli government.
