Not to mention unemployment, inflation, and loss of personal freedom here at home.

Actuality is, as it says, the actual state of affairs; the truth behind the lies, ignorance, wishful thinking, obfuscation, and lack of understanding that so many people embrace.
Reality is the construct built on all those illusions I mentioned above.
Actuality can't be erased, only suppressed.
But reality that isn't based on actuality can collapse spectacularly if actuality is able to poke through.
