In Oz, put into effect an AI 'Robodebt' scheme to claw back money from social security recipients. It was a disaster. The same government scrapped the scheme in 2020 and right now there is a Royal Commission into this clusterfuck.

Just a friendly heads up. This won't go well.

The Robodebt scheme was an unlawful method of automated debt assessment and recovery implemented in Australia under the Liberal-National Coalition governments of Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull, and Scott Morrison, and employed by the Australian government agency Services Australia as part of its Centrelink payment compliance program.
