I grieve for the loss of decency, the fact that moral rot has become the norm and that our so-called leaders think it's just fine, assuming they even notice. That the creature who through some warp in the timeline of the universe has become our spokesman, our representative to the rest of the world, can say the most astonishingly vile things - about the death of a war hero and steadfast, honorable public servant, for no reason other than political disagreement; that he can insult another head of state with a mean "joke" about her country's 80-years previous act of war; that he can display all of his most vicious thoughts and impulses and intentions and nobody with the power to do anything seems to care enough to say, enough? Do we ever recover from life in this cesspool?
