Great guy. Great soldier.

He came to me once, I was a few years older, about how to talk around his roommate. This kid was from waaaay out Nebraska. He’d only seen black people on TV - Cosby and Nebraska football mostly.

“Wher can I say?”
“You know what you can’t say. Talk to him how you talk to me”
“Okay”
