(2,052 posts)27. Our local paper, The Lincoln Journal Star, buried the article as well.
The front page was all about the Spring Football game. And the journalist just can't make good estimates. They always write that hundreds and hundreds were there. Last year we had over 5,000. This year more like 2 thousand. I called the paper and told them that, while the article was well written, the journalist vastly underestimates every time, and that the football game was not the most important event in Lincoln yesterday. Sure we are in Nebraska, but, cars full of people going to that game were hanging out the windows and honking their approval as they drove by our protest. We will not be silenced!

If they had any integrity and did their jobs in the first place, No Kings wouldn't need to happen.
