11. Why does the press never challenge Trump when he spews these absurd lies?

Yesterday

If the Iran war has cost $30 billion, at $100 per barrel it would require 300 million barrels to cover the cost. To pay for it 25 times over would require 7.5 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil. Venezuela currently produces about 1 million barrels per day and the war has gone on for 85 days therefore Venezuelan oil would not have covered the cost of the war even straight up, let alone 25 times over.
We all exaggerate from time to time but Trump is on a whole different level and somehow he just keeps getting away with it..
